LHS Members


Louisville Homeschool is accepting membership registrations for the 2017/18 school year.  Membership is $25 per family per year.  The majority of the membership fee is applied to insurance for our group.  Your membership will not begin until August 1, 2017, but will allow you to register for LHCP immediately.

Members of Louisville Homeschool have access to the following benefits*:

• One LHS membership card per family that can be used for Educator’s Discount at many stores and locations.

 Co-op Coordinator - Communicates with Co-op Committee, facilitates communication amongst co-op committee, ensures each participating family volunteers, helps committee plan
 Co-op Committee - Every family who would like to participate in a co-op must be on the co-op committee and volunteer their time to every co-op meeting. Co-op committee plans co-op details, meetings, events, times, and places.
 Field Day Coordinator - Communicates with Field Day Committee, facilitates communication amongst Field Day committee, ensures each participating family volunteers
 Field Day Committee - ensures each participating family volunteers, creates field day plan including: Where the field day will be held, Date and Time of Field Day, What events will be offered, Awards, Creates budget for LHS board approval, Creates Sign-Up Genius for volunteers
 Graduation Coordinator - Communicates with Graduation Committee, facilitates communication amongst Graduation committee, ensures each participating family volunteers
 Graduation Committee - ensures each participating family volunteers
 Playgroup Committee - plans as the host playgroup details, meetings, events, times, and places. You can schedule as few as 1 per month. Must coordinate with other playgroup committee members to ensure dates are spread over the month and do not conflict.
 Parent's Support Committee - plans as the host parent’s night out details, meetings, events, times, and places. You can schedule as few as 1 per month. Must coordinate with other parent support committee members to ensure dates are spread over the month and do not conflict.
 Tween Coordinator - Communicates with Tween Committee, facilitates communication among tween committee, encourages participation in tween events, helps committee plan tween meetups and events.
 Tween Committee - encourages participation in tween events, helps committee plan tween meetups and events.
 Teen Coordinator - Communicates with Teen Committee, facilitates communication amongst teen committee, encourages participation in teen events, helps committee plan teen meetups and events.
 Teen Committee - encourages participation in teen events, helps committee plan teen meetups and events.
 Young Authors Coordinator - Communicates with Young Authors Committee, facilitates communication among YA committee, ensures each participating family volunteers, communicates with Jackie about needs for YA banquet.
 Young Authors Committee - encourages participation in Young Authors, helps committee plan YA banquet, volunteers to judge or finds volunteer judges for YA, decides on prizes for YA
 Book Swap Coordinator - Communicates with Book Swap Committee, facilitates communication among BS committee, creates volunteer sign ups, communicates with Jackie about needs for BS including park to have it at, advertising, etc.
 Book Swap Committee - encourages participation in the Book Swap, helps committee plan BS, helps find volunteers for BS setup, take down, clean up, advertising, decides on place to be held, day, time, etc.
 I do not want to volunteer to help.

All member benefits are subject to change without notice or refund.  All member activities rely on member volunteers and participation; without volunteers, we are unable to offer these activities. Co-ops, cottage schools, parties, etc are subject to availability and space restraints.  All sales are final.
